Fleming Park

This large neighborhood park has a shaded playground, a pavilion, lighted tennis courts, lighted basketball courts, and ball fields.

The playground is not large, but still good. Suprisingly, it doesn't have any swings, a mainstay of most parks. It has a covered slide, a spiral slide, a tteter-totter, and, for the little kids, a small slide as part of a train you can climb on. It is cushioned with a nice layer of mulch. The park also has a pavilion with picnic tables and a grill. The tennis courts and basketball court are open for everyone.

The North Bethesda Trail runs along the front of the park. The signs still give the old name, the "Bethesda Trolley Trail" It is a trail that goes from downtown Bethesda to Rockville. Some places there is a dedicated trail for it, other places it just runs along the sidewalks.
